Job Description

Overview

We're hiring an HR Generalist for our advanced manufacturing company.

We produce precision components with specialty materials for the aerospace and defense industries, a dynamic market where demand keeps climbing and the work has to be right the first time. The company is in a period of rapid growth: new employees across the plant, new equipment, and new customers. We need an HR professional who can help the organization keep up.

This is a true generalist seat. You'll run day-to-day HR across the company – onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, HRIS records, and performance review support — and provide structural support for recruiting as we staff our manufacturing and floor technician teams. The role splits time between the office and the production floor, working with everyone from entry-level technicians to executives.

Why Join Us

  • Total compensation: $90K–$120K across base, annual bonus, and stock grants.
  • Benefits that count: 90% company-paid medical, 6% 401(k) match, four weeks PTO.
  • Work with the best: this is a professional culture and modern facility you can be proud of

Compensation

  • Total compensation: $90,000–$120,000 with bonus and stock included
  • Base salary: $65,000–$80,000
  • Annual bonus: 25% of base salary
  • Annual stock grants: 25% of base salary, granted each of your first 4 years

Additional Benefits

  • 90% company-paid medical, dental, and vision premiums
  • 6% dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match
  • 4 weeks of PTO

Responsibilities

  • Employee relations: Serve as first point of contact for questions and concerns.
  • Onboarding: Run orientation and complete new-hire employment documentation.
  • Benefits administration: Handle enrollments, changes, employee questions, and vendor coordination.
  • Open enrollment: Coordinate annual open enrollment and employee communications.
  • HRIS maintenance: Keep employee records and HRIS data accurate and audit-ready.
  • Compliance: Administer HR processes under federal, state, and local employment law.
  • Audits & reporting: Support audits, workforce reporting, and record retention requirements.
  • Recruiting support: Coordinate postings, interviews, and candidate communication for hiring managers.
  • Performance reviews: Track review cycles and support training and development programs.
  • Policy administration: Maintain the employee handbook and communicate policy updates.
