Job Title: HR Information Systems (HRIS) Manager
This role will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer with a dotted line to the VP of Human Resources.
Summary The HRIS Manager oversees the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s HR technology ecosystem. This role partners closely with HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to ensure data accuracy, streamline HR processes, and enhance the employee experience through effective system use. The HRIS Manager serves as the subject matter expert for all HR systems and drives continuous improvement through analytics, automation, and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of HR systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle, SAP, or similar).
Oversee system upgrades, patches, testing, and integrations with other business systems.
Ensure data integrity through audits, regular maintenance, and standardization of data practices.
Develop and maintain HR dashboards, analytics, and reporting to support decision-making.
Partner with HR and business stakeholders to analyze needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
Manage system permissions, security roles, and compliance with data privacy regulations. Lead or support cross-functional HR technology projects, including new module rollouts and process redesign.
Train HR team members and business partners on system functionality and best practices. Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with vendors, and ensure timely resolution.
Document system procedures, workflows, and governance standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in HRIS management or HR systems administration.
Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance, compensation, learning). Experience with reporting tools and HR analytics.
Proficiency in data management, system configuration, and process improvement.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HRIS implementation or system migration projects.
Certifications related to HR systems (e.g., Workday Pro, UKG certifications).
Familiarity with SQL, API integrations, or advanced reporting tools.
Experience in using business analytics tool, such as Power BI or Tableau.
