Job Overview
The HR Intern plays a key role in executing assigned HR Intern tasks. This includes developing skills in talent management, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support onboarding and orientation activities, including new hire paperwork, system access coordination, file creation, and maintaining accurate employee records.
- Assist with staffing and recruiting efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Provide day‑to‑day employee relations support by responding to employee inquiries, assisting with engagement activities, and reinforcing HR policies and procedures.
- Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollment processes, answering basic benefits questions, and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as personal action
- notices, drug testing forms, data entry records, and employee milestone/engagement materials.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that improve onboarding effectiveness, staffing workflows, and overall employee experience.
Min. Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and principles is a plus.
