Summary
Are you a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building things from scratch? Join us as the HR Manager (m/f/n) for ESET Italy and take ownership of the full employee journey-from recruitment and HR administration to employee relations and change management. This is a standalone role where you'll work closely with leadership, support important organizational changes, and become a trusted partner for employees.

We're looking for someone resilient, proactive, and confident enough to challenge the status quo while bringing people along the journey.
As an HR Manager you will:
- Be the only HR representative in the ESET Italy office, independently managing all HR areas and serving as the primary point of contact for employees and managers.
- You will manage HR operations and administration, including payroll coordination, contract management, Workday data accuracy, reporting, and budget planning related to headcount, benefits, and promotions. You will also support recruitment activities and hiring needs as they arise.
- Local leadership and employees will rely on your expertise and advice. You will support and coach them to effectively handle workforce issues, ensuring they are equipped with the right tools, guidance, and knowledge.
- Design and execute local HR strategies across core areas including recruitment, employer branding, employee relations and engagement, performance, compensation, benefits, and learning & development.
- Collaborate with global HR teams on implementing global strategies, policies and activities while making sure they all align with local labour law.
- Full employee lifecycle will be in your hands from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, development, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws.
- You will drive internal communication, organize or support local team activities and support global CSR efforts to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Ideal candidate has:
- At least 6 years of experience on similar position
- Good knowledge of current labor legislation, practices and policies with focus on CCNL
- Experience with employee lifecycle as a whole and all HR areas (hiring plan, budgeting, recruitment, L&D, C&B)
- Experience in managing complex employee issues and making quick but rational decisions
- English at C1 and native Italian
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner, with the ability to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
- Able to work well under pressure with competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
Compensation package:
Annual gross salary (RAL) from 46,000 EUR + variable performance bonus
