Position Summary:

The HR Manager is responsible for daily human resources operations including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance tracking, and HR system management while driving automation and AI-enabled employee experience improvements.

Position Details:

  • Location: Northbrook, IL
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday on-site.
  • Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000

Key Responsibilities

    • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Handle employee relations and HR support issues
    • Maintain HR records and compliance documentation
    • Administer benefits and HR systems
    • Support policy implementation and updates
    • Track HR metrics and workforce data
    • Support employee communication and engagement processes

AI & Automation Requirement

  • Must implement AI-driven onboarding and employee self-service tools
  • Responsible for automating HR workflows (onboarding, tickets, documentation)
  • Expected to use AI for workforce analytics and reporting
  • Must identify opportunities to reduce administrative HR workload through automation

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4–7 years of HR experience
  • Experience in employee relations, onboarding, or HR operations
  • Knowledge of HR systems (HRIS platforms)
  • Strong understanding of employment law and compliance basics
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

AI Requirement:

  • Experience using AI tools for onboarding, employee communications, or HR reporting
  • Ability to automate HR workflows and reduce administrative workload through technology
