Job Description
We are seeking a HR Operations Specialist for our client. This position will provide dependable operational support for Campus Resources by processing routine HR transactions, managing intake requests, maintaining documentation, and supporting reporting and workflow activities.
Key Responsibilities
Case and Intake Management
- Manage shared inboxes and action/ticket queues, including triaging, routing, and resolving standard cases within established service levels.
- Provide first-level responses to routine HR questions from campus HR teams.
- Review active job postings for compliance and quality issues.
- Coordinate posting revisions with campus partners and escalate systemic concerns to leadership.
- Track job-posting trends to help identify analysis and campus training needs.
- Respond to basic questions regarding background verification processes in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain designated SharePoint sites, ensuring HR materials are accurate, accessible, and properly version-controlled.
SOPs and Documentation
- Maintain operational SOPs, templates, and quick-reference guides.
- Coordinate documentation updates as processes evolve and implementation approaches.
Peak-Period Support
- Provide additional operational coverage during user acceptance testing (UAT) and system cutover periods while subject-matter experts focus on project responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in higher education HR operations, HR shared services, or higher education administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS or other enterprise systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established procedures and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer-service orientation and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
