Job Description

Job Title: HR People Experience Coordinator

Location & Duration: In Person, M-F (Occasional Saturday)

Compensation Range: $58,000 – $65,000

Reports to: HR Director

About the Role

We’re looking for a self-starting builder who is excited to help shape and scale our people experience across all locations. This is not a sit-behind-the-desk HR role. This person will be highly present in our studios, building relationships, strengthening culture, and ensuring our people feel supported, connected, and empowered to perform at their best.

The HR People Experience Coordinator serves as a true partner and right hand to the HR Director, operationally strong, strategically minded, and deeply people-oriented. You will help bring our culture to life day-to-day while building and improving the systems that support a growing organization.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative without waiting for direction, and genuinely enjoys building community, structure, and momentum.

Responsibilities

People Partnership & Studio Presence

  • Serve as a visible, trusted resource for employees and managers across all studio locations.
  • Spend significant time in studios building relationships and strengthening team connection.
  • Partner with managers on performance conversations, engagement, development, and team health.
  • Support employee relations matters with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Actively reinforce a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and excellence.

People Operations & Process Building

  • Own and continuously improve core people processes: onboarding, offboarding, performance cycles, engagement initiatives, and development programs.
  • Ensure onboarding creates connection, clarity, and culture from day one.
  • Maintain and enhance HR policies, documentation, and employee-facing resources.
  • Support benefits administration, leaves of absence, and employee lifecycle changes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal standards.

Data, Systems & Insights

  • Maintain accurate people data in Rippling and related systems.
  • Build dashboards and reporting around engagement, retention, performance, hiring, and workforce trends.
  • Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities—bringing proactive insights to the HR Director.
  • Support workforce planning, headcount tracking, and compensation analysis.

Recruiting & Talent Enablement

  • Partner with recruiting and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, equitable hiring process.
  • Support interview coordination, role scoping, and candidate experience.
  • Help ensure new hires feel connected, informed, and set up for success.

Culture, Communication & Engagement

  • Help design and execute engagement initiatives, studio visits, town halls, summits, and cultural moments.
  • Strengthen communication across locations to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Act as a daily steward of company values and community.

Who You Are

  • A Builder: You naturally look for ways to improve systems, strengthen culture, and create structure. You don’t wait to be told what to fix.
  • A Self-Starter: You take initiative, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are energized by ownership.
  • People-First: You genuinely care about creating a positive, inclusive, and connected employee experience.
  • Operationally Strong: You love organization, clarity, and building systems that make things run smoothly.
  • Solution-Oriented: Challenges energize you. You think in possibilities, not problems.
  • Highly Present: You enjoy being in the field, building relationships face-to-face, and becoming a trusted presence across locations.
  • Discreet & Professional: You handle sensitive matters with integrity and sound judgment.
  • Collaborative: You build strong cross-functional partnerships and communicate with clarity and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2–6 years of experience in HR, people operations, or office management (internships included).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Rippling, Notion, and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
