Job Description

Enable People. Strengthen Leaders. Help Shape What’s Next.

Seco is seeking a business‑minded HR Professional who thrives in evolving, performance‑driven environments and enjoys helping organizations move from good to great. This role is ideal for someone who has supported — or lived through — transformation and wants to play an active role in building strong leadership capability, disciplined people processes, and an engaged workforce.

This is a high‑visibility role partnering closely with leaders and the HR Business Partner to support the U.S. organization. You’ll balance hands‑on execution with thoughtful problem‑solving, coaching managers through people decisions while ensuring consistency, compliance, and data integrity.

The role is based in the Charlotte, NC area and includes up to 10–20% travel.

About the Role

As an HR Professional at Seco, you will provide end‑to‑end HR support across the employee lifecycle for a diverse, performance‑oriented organization. You’ll operate across people process execution, manager coaching, employee relations, and data‑enabled HR — supporting leaders as they navigate growth, change, and capability building.

You’ll work closely with the Country leadership, HR Business Partner, and HR Services, contributing both locally and across broader HR initiatives.

This role is well‑suited for someone who:

  • Enjoys partnering with leaders, not policing them
  • Can operate confidently in environments with ambiguity and change
  • Brings a mindset of continuous improvement and practical transformation

Key Responsibilities

HR Partnership & Manager Enablement

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to people leaders, providing day‑to‑day guidance and support
  • Coach managers across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance discussions, development planning, and transitions
  • Support leaders in making fair, consistent, and well‑reasoned people decisions
  • Partner closely with the HR Business Partner and leadership team to align local HR activities with broader people strategies

Performance, Talent & Development

  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and compensation cycles
  • Contribute to talent and succession discussions, helping identify development opportunities and risks
  • Coach managers on feedback, development conversations, and performance improvement
  • Coordinate learning and development activities aligned with business and leadership needs

Employee Relations & Policy Application

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns with professionalism and care
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies; escalate complex or high‑risk cases as appropriate
  • Support exit processes and identify trends or improvement opportunities

HR Operations, Data & Digital Enablement

  • Execute core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and data management
  • Maintain accurate, high‑quality employee data across HR systems
  • Support HR reporting and people metrics to inform business decisions
  • Use HR systems and digital tools (Workday experience a plus; Power BI experience a plus) to enable data‑driven discussions

Communication & Change Support

  • Deliver clear, professional HR communications to employees and leaders
  • Support local change initiatives and HR programs tied to business priorities
  • Participate in cross‑functional and regional HR initiatives as needed

What You Bring

  • A strong HR Generalist foundation with solid business and people acumen
  • Experience coaching and influencing managers in performance‑focused environments
  • Comfort operating in organizations undergoing change or transformation
  • Clear, credible communication style and professional confidence
  • Sound judgment, integrity, and strong attention to detail
  • Strong data literacy and appreciation for disciplined HR operations
  • Ability to balance relationship‑driven work with structure, process, and accountability

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Experience partnering directly with managers and executing HR processes end to end
  • Exposure to performance management, employee relations, and talent practices
  • Experience maintaining HR data quality and supporting standard reporting; Power BI experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to travel up to 10–20%

Why Seco
