About the RoleThe Global Mobility Manager manages all aspects of candidate and employee relocation both domestic and permanent moves within the Americas. Anticipating employee needs and dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience, the Mobility Manager will take initiative to solve problems independently, exercising discretion within guidelines and evolving industry standards. This is an exciting and demanding role that requires passion and the desire to be a team player on an amazing team.Specific Job ResponsibilitiesProvide subject matter expertise and manage day-to-day US relocation cases in partnership with Relocation Management Company on mobility within the AmericasAct as a single point of contact to employees throughout the mobility processArticulate complex relocation scenarios including tax and immigration factors and provide practical, simplified solutions for the employee and/or businessIn partnership with our immigration firm, support immigration case life-cycle management for foreign national employees. This includes working closely with foreign national candidates, employees, and internal stakeholders to provide guidance, support escalations and day to day program management support.Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to interpret policy, provide options and recommend solutionsPartner with global and local vendors, monitor performance and ensure compliance withpolicy and local laws and regulationsAssist with special projects as neededKnowledge, Experience and SkillsMinimum 5 years of relevant experience Global Mobility experience with a focus on the AmericasFamiliarity with US residential real estate purchase process; knowledge of Buyer Value Option transactions a plusIn depth knowledge of mobility processes including tax services, immigration, payroll, home sale, home purchase in the Americas regionsExcellent learning agility and emotional intelligence, able to be empathetic to situations you may have never directly experiencedExceptional communication skills and an above average ability to translate mobility concepts to others, with impeccable customer service skills, positive attitude in challenging situationsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and multi-task in a high paced environmentDemonstrated experience working on a global teamAbility to work efficiently and effectively in situations involving change, shifting priorities and ambiguityRole model forcore values and Leadership Commitments in all actions
