We are looking for a knowledgeable and self-motivated individual to join our team.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support the full employee lifecycle for our workforce at our manufacturing site. This role will be responsible for executing and supporting all core HR processes—from talent acquisition through onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, and offboarding—while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and passionate about supporting employees and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support full-cycle recruitment (posting, screening, interviewing coordination, and offers)
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and workforce planning
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
- Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience
- Manage employee records and HRIS data throughout the employee lifecycle
- Support promotions, transfers, performance processes, and terminations
- Conduct exit processes including documentation and interviews
- Serve as a primary HR contact, addressing day-to-day questions and concerns
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Support employee engagement initiatives and retention efforts
- Assist in workforce communications and HR programs
- Support labor relations activities and ensure consistent application of policies
- Assist in investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
- Promote a fair and respectful workplace culture
- Assist in payroll processing activities including timekeeping review and data validation
- Partner with payroll team to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and reporting
- Track HR metrics such as turnover, attendance, and hiring progress
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience supporting hourly workforce
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and labor relations
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
