HR Specialist - FocusPoint Talent Solutions (Recruiting on Behalf of Our Client)

FocusPoint, a trusted talent solutions partner, is supporting a client organization in identifying an experienced HR Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for a detail oriented, people focused professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys contributing to a positive employee experience. About the Role

The HR Specialist will support core human resources functions including onboarding, employee relations coordination, benefits administration, compliance tracking, and HR data management. This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure HR processes run smoothly and employees receive timely, accurate support.

This is a hands on role suited for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with employee facing interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and professional employee experience
  • Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Assist with employee relations documentation and scheduling as directed by HR leadership
  • Prepare reports, track compliance requirements, and support audits as needed
  • Help administer company policies and ensure alignment with applicable regulations
  • Provide day to day HR support to employees and managers, escalating issues appropriately
  • Contribute to process improvements and HR initiatives that enhance efficiency and engagement

Qualifications

  • 2 5 years of experience in human resources or a related administrative function
  • Working knowledge of HR processes, employment documentation, and basic compliance requirements
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and strong comfort with data entry and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and a service oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to changing needs
