Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented HRIS & Payroll Specialist to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant HRIS and payroll support across our Austin and Taylor sites. In this dual-impact role, you will manage end-to-end payroll processes—including tax/deduction handling, record maintenance, and reconciliation—while partnering closely with HR Operations and Shared Services. On the HRIS side, you will facilitate high-volume new hire data entry, manage indirect vendor onboarding, and audit data flows between HCM systems.
Job Description
- Payroll Execution & Reconciliation: Assist with the end-to-end biweekly payroll cycle, process adjustments and ad-hoc payments, perform timecard audits, and run payroll calculations to ensure total data accuracy prior to processing.
- Taxes & Garnishments: Process agency and payroll mail to set up tax deductions, wage levies, child support orders, and garnishments correctly.
- HRIS & System Data Syncing: Monitor, verify, and audit employee data flows between Workday and UKG (Dimensions / UltiPro) to guarantee seamless integration.
- Data Entry & Vendor Onboarding: Execute high-volume new hire data entries and support HRIS administration focused on indirect vendor onboarding, tracking, and auditing.
- Issue Resolution & Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for employee and internal HR inquiries, submit/track support tickets, perform root cause analysis on payroll discrepancies, and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize payroll and onboarding workflows, enhance system efficiency, and update SOP documentation.
Skills Required
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in Payroll Processing, Payroll Tax, Wage Garnishment, Auditing, and Compensation.
- Systems & Software: Hands-on experience with Workday, UKG (Dimensions / UltiPro), and Advanced Excel.
- Core Competencies: Strong focus on compliance, basic software proficiency, root-cause problem solving, and exceptional detail orientation.
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Additional Requirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Shift (Day): 1st shift 8A-5P - Mon-Fri
Pay Rate
- $23–$25 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
