Job Description

Anders Group is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with a strong focus on sourcing and building talent pipelines. This role plays a key part in helping us identify and attract candidates who align with our business needs, culture, and motivation.

This position is heavily focused on front-end recruiting (sourcing). The ideal candidate understands how to leverage recruiting tools to find the right talent and is excited to adjust strategies to improve results.

When not focused on sourcing, this role will provide flexible support across HR — including benefits, audits, engagement, and other key initiatives — wherever the team needs it most.

What the Human Resources Assistant does every day:

  • Source and build pipelines of candidates that align with business needs and team goals
  • Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and adjust sourcing strategies to bring in top talent
  • Use recruiting tools and ATS systems to identify strong candidate matches and keep data clean and organized
  • Jump in to support HR priorities like benefits, audits, and employee engagement as needed

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates using job boards, databases, social platforms, and other recruiting tools to build strong talent pipelines
  • Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and candidate profiles
  • Adjust sourcing strategies based on hiring trends, pipeline performance, and business needs
  • Utilize ATS and recruiting tools to track candidates and maintain accurate, up-to-date data
  • Ensure candidate pipelines are organized, active, and aligned with current hiring priorities
  • Manage HR and benefits inboxes, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Conduct discovery calls to assess candidate alignment with role requirements and overall company fit
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal employees and external candidates
  • Assist with benefits administration, including audits and data verification
  • Support workers’ compensation claims and related documentation
  • Create, update, and maintain employee-facing content and resources
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready HR records
  • Assist with onboarding coordination and general HR administrative tasks
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal programs
  • Order and maintain office supplies/snacks to support a positive workplace environment
  • Complete reporting, projects, and process improvements as needed
  • Uphold confidentiality and accuracy across all HR systems and processes

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Agency Staffing experience required – Healthcare Staffing experience is a bonus
  • CP-SHRM, PHR or any relatable certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of recruiting tools, job boards, and ATS systems required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet goals
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
