Job Description
The HR Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to the leadership team. They align people strategies with business objectives to help drive organizational performance. This role focuses on workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, organizational design, talent strategy, and compliance to enable growth and strengthen business outcomes.Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Strategic Partnership
Demonstrates a strong understanding of internal customers and the businesses supportedPartner with leaders to align HR strategy with business goals and policiesProvide consultative guidance on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and team performanceLeverage HR and business data, and AI to provide actionable insight and recommendationsMitigate organizational risk through proactive planning and leadership coaching
Workforce Planning and Talent Strategy
Work with the leadership team to execute workforce plans that address current and future talent needsLead succession planning and build leadership pipelines for critical rolesPartner with COEs (HR, Safety, Compliance, Quality) to ensure alignment with long-term talent strategiesWork with Talent Acquisition team to monitor key people metrics (turnover, engagement, technician utilization)
Leadership Development and Performance Management
Drive leadership development initiatives and strengthen management capabilityParticipate in the performance management process to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business goalsSupport leaders in coaching, feedback, and career development discussionsProvide strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters
Culture, Engagement, and Retention
Champion a high-performance, values-driven cultureDevelop and work with business partners to execute strategies to retain key talent and improve the employee experienceEnsure effective communication, adoption, and sustainability of organizational changes.Lead and support change management efforts for strategic initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience.Expertise in local city and/or state employment laws of their assigned regionOil or gas industry experience with an exposure to a variety of cross-function job assignments that include Safety, Quality, IT and Compliance preferred.Prior experience with HR strategy, recruitment, labor relations, compensation, benefits, and HRIS.Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced multi-unit environment with competing demands; strong initiative and self-starter.Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration including ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to multi-task with well-developed organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.Must maintain a professional demeanor with effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint; HRIS (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Workday, etc.)Must be willing to travel to locations within assigned Region and to the corporate office, attend career fairs and other events as needed.
- This role will be supporting North Field Operations and location is open based on those labs this role will be supporting.Compensation range is $110- 20KEssential Physical Functions:Ability to lift 30 pounds
