Position Summary

We’re hiring a Human Resource Compliance Specialist.  This position is responsible for supporting HR technology, compliance administration, data integrity, learning management system administration, and regulatory reporting. This position serves as a subject matter expert in HR systems, testing, process governance, and compliance activities and helps ensure the organization maintains effective HR controls and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

HRIS Administration and Testing

  • Coordinate and execute Workday testing activities, including releases, enhancements, and process changes.

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and process documentation.

  • Assist with Workday adoption planning and change management initiatives.

  • Administer Workday dashboards, reports, and the Workday Hub.

  • Monitor data integrity and recommend process improvements.

Compliance Administration

  • Coordinate and conduct I-9 audits and HR compliance audits.

  • Support benefits audits and other regulatory reporting activities.

  • Assist with regulatory reporting and audit requests.

  • Monitor compliance validations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Support record retention and documentation requirements.

BVS and Learning Systems Administration

  • Administer the Bank's learning management system, including BVS assignments, updates, and completion tracking.

  • Monitor overdue training and issue completion notices.

  • Produce compliance training reports and metrics.

  • Coordinate system updates and testing activities related to learning administration.

Process Governance and Documentation

  • Administer SOP testing and maintain process documentation.

  • Support HR policy and procedure updates.

  • Maintain dashboards and KPI reporting related to compliance and HR operations.

  • Assist with system and process improvement initiatives.

General Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR leadership to escalate complex employee or organizational issues

  • Participate in departmental initiatives and process improvement efforts

  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee and organizational information

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned, provided such duties are within the employee's qualifications and the employee has received appropriate training, guidance, or resources necessary to perform the work safely and effectively.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible human resources, employee services, or administrative experience.

  • Experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); Workday experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple assignments, and meet established deadlines.

Education

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred.
