Human Resource Generalist (Spectrum Metalcraft)

Velocity Flow Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Human Resource Generalist to join our dynamic HR team in Salina, KS for the manufacturing brand: Spectrum Metalcraft. This crucial role will support the efficient operation of the HR department by providing administrative assistance, maintaining accurate employee records, and facilitating various HR processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a commitment to confidentiality, and a passion for supporting our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of orientation materials and documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and maintain benefits-related records.
• Help organize employee training sessions, and company events.
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
• Serve as a back up for processing payroll.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 1-2 years of experience in an human resources generalist role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees and management.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

This is a full-time position with standard office hours, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime based on business needs.

There is no relocation package with this job. Candidate must live within 30 miles of Salina location.
