Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and benefits with clarity and compassion.

  • Own and optimize the full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes, creating a seamless and engaging employee journey.

  • Maintain and update employee records with impeccable accuracy (HRIS experience preferred).

  • Partner with managers on performance conversations, employee relations matters, and corrective actions while ensuring legal compliance.

  • Coordinate benefit enrollment, leave tracking (FMLA, ADA, etc.), and open enrollment efforts.

  • Support the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and background checks.

  • Assist in designing internal communication strategies that support engagement, inclusion, and recognition.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal protocols.

  • Champion company culture through small moments and big initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 25 years of HR Generalist or similar HR experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO), and HR compliance.

  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (such as ADP, Paycom, BambooHR, or similar).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,  you're both a good listener and a clear, concise communicator.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a sense of calm and professionalism.

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, but not required.

  • A sense of humor and a deep belief that HR can be both compliant and creative.
