Position located in our Milwaukee Headquarters.Summary:We are seeking an accomplished, highly proficient Human Resource Manager to serve as a trusted partner to Executive Management in overseeing the employment and benefits programs for the Company. The ideal candidate will manage the hiring process, employee onboarding and training, policy implementation, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational requirements. This role is critical to fostering a positive work environment, maintaining organizational efficiency, and supporting the company’s strategic goals.Responsibilities:
  • Manage recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background and reference checks, and providing recommendations to management. Use and maintenance of ATS for positive Company and candidate experience.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, training programs, performance management and salary administration.
  • Investigate employee questions regarding salary administration, pay changes, and bonus eligibility.
  • Administer and ensure compliance with HR programs such as EEO, FMLA, COBRA, and other leave policies in accordance with company standards and applicable laws.
  • Investigate employee claims or disputes, document findings, and make recommendations as appropriate.
  • Administer benefit programs, including health, safety, wellness, insurance, and workers’ compensation, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and other external partners on insurance, safety, and benefit-related areas.
  • Oversee maintenance of HRIS to meet company needs, ensure confidentiality, and comply with legal requirements. Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
  • Manage personnel records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements, and coordinate information with other departments as needed.
  • Negotiate with external vendors to provide HR-related services.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 10+ years of diverse Human Resources experience, including management and strategic planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • ADP Workforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or external business contacts.
  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively to Executive Management, employees, and outside contacts.
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to HR-related tasks.
