Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resource Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing potential employees, as well as managing employee relations, payroll, benefits, and training programs. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including posting job listings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Administer employee benefits programs and payroll processing.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices across multiple functional areas.
- Working knowledge of Hawai?i and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
