Human Resources (Hr) Intern

Human Resources Intern Location: 48 W Young St Morgan Ut 84050 Company: Morgan County Schedule: Part-time, flexible to accommodate school commitments

Overview: We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern who is currently studying HR. This role is ideal for someone with little to no HR experience who is eager to learn and gain hands-on exposure to core HR functions. You will work closely with our HR manager to support audits and special projects that strengthen our compliance and people processes.Key Responsibilities: • Assist with audit functions, including I-9 audits and safety audits • Support payroll processes such as data review and preparation • Help conduct a compensation study, including collecting and organizing market data • Participate in job description updates and cleanup • Provide support for general HR functions such as recordkeeping, data entry, and reporting • Assist with employee file audits and compliance tasks • Collaborate with HR staff on ongoing projects and process improvements

Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in a Human Resources or related program at Weber State University • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
