  • Build strong relationships with associates across all departments and shifts — a hallmark of leadership at McInnes.
  • Lead associate surveys, analyze results, and implement meaningful improvements that reinforce trust and engagement.
  • Design communication and education programs that strengthen understanding of policies, expectations, and cultural values.
  • Manage associate relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance matters with fairness and consistency.

Safety Leadership

  • Serve as the champion of McInnes’ Safety 24/7 mindset — a core pillar of their identity.
  • Maintain and report key safety metrics to executive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to maintain best‑in‑class safety practices that protect their associates and their reputation.

Training & Development

  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs that introduce new associates to the McInnes way of working.
  • Identify organizational training needs and implement development initiatives that strengthen skills and leadership.
  • Support cross‑training, succession planning, and leadership development programs that fuel long‑term growth.

Recruitment & Talent Development

  • Lead recruiting strategies that attract top talent to a competitive manufacturing environment.
  • Drive performance management and development planning across the organization.
