Job Description

Scope of the RoleAs Human Resources Director, you will lead the full HR function for a multi-location community health center, ensuring compliant, consistent people practices that support organizational goals and employee effectiveness.Key responsibilities include:- Direct and administer HR plans, policies, and procedures; maintain and update the employee handbook- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, employee relations, investigations, and performance management- Lead compensation strategy, salary analysis, and evaluation processes- Guide benefits administration and leave practices; partner with external vendors as needed- Ensure thorough compliance with Hawaii and federal employment laws; represent the organization in claims/hearings as applicable- Supervise HR staff and maintain accurate HR records and reporting

Required qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field- PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification- 5+ years in HR management in a 100+ employee organization- Deep working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
