$69,567.40 - $114,795.41

Summary

The Human Resources Generalist provides a wide range of support to all employee levels within the organization. Serves as the point of contact for all Human Resources inquiries related to employee and labor relations, labor contract and policy interpretation, resolving workplace issues, reviewing and recommending corrective action.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive unbiased investigation and formulate reasonable and effective conclusions
  • Recommend and implement performance and employee progression enhancements
  • Assist with the merit pay process
  • Assist with Negotiate with employees, unions, and management
  • Resolve conflict, apply policies, and distribute information
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create development plans that assist employees in meeting their professional development goals
  • Recommend employee compensation changes
  • Administer updates to performance, progression, and development plans in the human resource information system
  • Communicate with employees, leadership, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address concerns

Required Education and Experience

At the current time of application, applicant must:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, organizational development, labor relations, psychology or a related discipline of study

• A minimum of three (3) years of recent human resources experience with increasing levels of responsibility and authority in a combination of the following areas: recruitment and selection, labor relations, HR consulting, examinations and test development, classification compensation, succession planning, coaching, job design, HR records, training with some experience as a team or project leader.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience with performance management programs, job descriptions, and

compensation concepts

Experience with the Workday Talent Management system

Proficient in using Microsoft Office products

Other Requirements

Valid Driver's License
