Description: Temp -to- Hire Onsite Interview Onsite in Websterville, VT for at least the first 6 months (potentially longer)- Must committee to 4 days we week onsite Add candidates location, if they have any manufacturing HR experience and when they would be available to start.Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: Leads Human Resources, Labor and Employee Relations at facilities as required. Functions include Labor & Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruiting, Learning & Development, EEO/AAP, Benefits Administration, Best Talent Survey Action Planning, and proactive / positive Union Relations, and Compensation. Strategic partnership with Senior Leadership Team in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR activities. Leadership & evaluation of site culture, and takes a proactive role to lead plant forward with regards to Employee Engagement, Supervisor Development, and fostering an environment that embraces continuous improvement to drive world class results in cost, quality, service, people, & environment.Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required along with a minimum of 7 years work experience in Human Resources with a concentration in labor relations and manufacturing.Required Competencies & Other Skills: Strong leadership, communication skills (in both small and large groups) and ability to influence, lead, and drive change in a complex manufacturing environment required. Comfortable engaging with employees at all levels in a manufacturing facility including "management by walking around. " Ability to effectively collaborate with local, regional, and corporate HR teams to achieve plant objectives. Flexibility to relocate in the future for career advancement opportunities is required.Preferred Experience & Education: Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Labor Relations, or a related field is preferred. Human Resources certification (SPHR, PHR) preferred. Five to seven years (minimum) California Human Resources experience highly preferred.Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: Familiarity with ADP/Kronos payroll and Oracle HRIS systems. Prior project management experience applicable to Human Resources, cross-functional initiatives and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement. Working knowledge of financial statements/principles/concepts to be able to identify the most appropriate Human Resources initiatives to address the most pressing business issues/challenges.
