Position Summary

The HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and ensuring a seamless employee experience across the organization. This position provides hands-on support in areas including orientation, HRIS data integrity (UKG), employee relations coordination, compliance training, and process documentation. The HR Specialist will work closely with HR leadership to streamline workflows, maintain accurate records, and help drive HR transformation initiatives at ANDMORE.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & Operations

  • Coordinate orientation, offboarding, and employee changes within UKG ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Maintain employee records, job data, and organizational charts across HR systems.
  • Support new hire orientation (NHO), employee file audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures with professionalism and confidentiality.

HRIS, Data & Reporting

  • Partner with Director, HRIS and HR Operations to maintain data accuracy in UKG and other HR platforms.
  • Run standard HR reports (headcount, turnover, compliance, etc.) and assist with workforce analytics as needed.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements related to data management and reporting.

Talent & Development

  • In collaboration with VP, Talent, support learning and development initiatives, including compliance training assignment and tracking.
  • Assist in managing performance management cycles, goal-setting processes, and engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to enhance employee communication and engagement efforts.

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure HR processes and files meet all federal, state, and company compliance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and adhere to internal policies.
  • Assist with audits, policy updates, and documentation reviews as required.

Community & Culture

  • Support companywide engagement initiatives that promote connection, recognition, and belonging across teams and locations.
  • Assist in coordinating employee events, celebrations, and community-building activities that reinforce ANDMORE's culture and values.
  • Partner with HR and Communications to draft and distribute internal messages, announcements, and recognition highlights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience supporting HR operations, HRIS, or generalist functions.
  • Experience with UKG (Pro, Ready, or Dimensions) highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet or similar workflow tools.
