Rentmeister Total Home Service is a family-owned and operated HVAC company located in Syracuse, Utah. Since 1953, we have been providing top-notch heating and cooling solutions to our community. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable and professional services, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our growing team.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the journeyman with the installation of heating and cooling equipment (HVAC systems).
- Ductwork Installation: Running supply and return ducting (metal or flex) throughout the building.
- Equipment Setting: Positioning heavy equipment like furnaces, heat pumps, and air handlers in designated areas.
- Refrigerant Lines & Drains: Installing copper line sets for air conditioning and PVC drain lines for condensation.
- Ventilation & Exhaust: Installing vent pipes for gas units and, in some cases, bath fan exhaust vents.
- Structural Coordination: Cutting holes through studs and joists for duct passage and sealing them for energy efficiency.
- Use basic hand and power tools.
- Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials for job sites.
- Help with site clean-up and ensure work areas are left tidy after installations.
- Be comfortable working in all types of weather.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least one year of previous HVAC installation experience-Required
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and great driving record
- Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen (We do not accept Medical Marijuana Cards)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:RMGA CertifiedEPA CertifiedCurrently or willingness to attend HVAC trade school
