Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Draft HVAC construction drawings including details, plans, and sectionsPerform HVAC load and energy calculationsDesign HVAC systems and select appropriate equipmentDevelop construction documents in AutoCAD and RevitCoordinate with other engineering and architectural trades during designParticipate in developing details, equipment schedules, and specificationsResearch and assess building performance, codes, and regulationsContribute to design discussions and carry concepts through to project drawingsSupport sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategiesCoordinate and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided DraftingMinimum 5 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firmAbility to work with minimal assistance from senior staffStrong AutoCAD and/or Revit experience requiredPE license not required but a plus
