Job Description
Job Title: Duct CleanerPosition SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Duct Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining residential and/or commercial HVAC duct systems. This role requires physical stamina, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer service.Key Responsibilities
- Clean HVAC duct systems, vents, registers, dryer vents, and related equipment using specialized tools.
- Inspect ductwork for dust, debris, mold, and other contaminants.
- Safely operate vacuums, brushes, blowers, and other duct-cleaning equipment.
- Set up and break down equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about services performed.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Document work performed, including before/after photos.
- Assist with minor HVAC-related tasks as needed (based on company policy and training).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior experience in duct cleaning, HVAC, or related trades is a plus but not required; training available.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Indoor and outdoor environments.
- Exposure to dust, debris, and varying temperatures.
- Use of PPE required (gloves, respirator, goggles).
- Full-time - typical hours Monday–Friday with occasional weekends as needed.
