HVAC Energy Management Technician Location: South Carolina Employment Type: Full-Time Are you an experienced HVAC professional looking to make a real impact? Join our team and help maintain the critical systems that keep our hospital running smoothly. Position Summary: You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and proper operation of hospital refrigeration, air conditioning, evaporative cooling, mechanical ventilation, and ice-making equipment. This includes control work and computer design for air conditioning systems. What We’re Looking For: Education: High School Diploma (Associate’s degree in HVAC preferred). Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with BMS controls. Licenses/Certifications: South Carolina Journeyman Heating & A/C Certification (or equivalent). Certificate of training in air conditioning. Core Responsibilities: Perform analytical diagnosis and mechanical repairs on HVAC equipment. Conduct planned maintenance on all mechanical systems. Make quick, clear decisions in high-pressure situations. Work collaboratively with peers and other departments. Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Physical & Skill Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift, and move equipment for extended periods. Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
