Job Description

CAM HVAC & Construction, a proud member of the Crete United family, is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Estimator to support commercial and public-sector projects in Rhode Island. With a legacy of quality and service since 1974, CAM brings unmatched capabilities—including an in-house sheet metal shop—to every job. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and dynamic company with a reputation for delivering complex HVAC and mechanical projects on time and on budget.

Salary $110-150K DOE

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC projects (plan/spec and design-build)
Analyze drawings, specs, and scopes to determine materials, labor, and timelines
Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotes
Work with project managers and leadership to support winning proposals

Qualifications:

3+ years in mechanical/HVAC estimating
Pipefitting and refrigeration experience required
Experience with commercial, municipal, and government bids
Proficient with estimating software and takeoff tools
Excellent attention to detail and deadline orientation
