Job Description
The HVAC Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of HVAC jobs in the field. This role ensures that jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The Field Supervisor will lead the teams, coordinate with clients and other stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage HVAC jobs at various job sites.
- Ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, provide guidance, and resolve any issues.
- Lead, train, and mentor technicians and apprentices.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems to ensure they meet all specifications and requirements.
- Identify and address any defects or issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
- Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Provide regular updates to clients on status and any changes.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.
- Coordinate with other departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
- Communicate any changes, delays, or issues to the Manager and other relevant parties.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on job progress and field activities.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the teams. |
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC.
- Relevant HVAC certifications.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to use project management and scheduling software.
