Step into an exciting leadership opportunity as a HVAC General Manager in Portland, Maine, overseeing commercial HVAC and plumbing new construction operations for a highly respected, well-established design-build-maintain engineering firm. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC General Manager position include:

10+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction leadership
Strong mechanical background with proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and understand HVAC and plumbing systems
HVAC and plumbing licenses are a plus but not mandatory
Oversee commercial new construction HVAC and plumbing projects, including underground plumbing layout and overall mechanical project execution
Manage schedules, maintain backlog, coordinate materials and subcontractors, and ensure projects stay on track
Provide daily onsite oversight and support for superintendents, with 5–6 direct reports and leadership over a 15-person HVAC/plumbing department
Work closely with internal teams in a design-build environment, leveraging office and field experience to drive successful project outcomes
Use strong computer knowledge and leadership skills to manage project flow, reporting, and operational performance

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
