This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.

Job Summary

Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is seeking an entry-level HVAC Helper to assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC trade.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC technicians with various tasks including carrying tools and materials, cleaning work areas, and preparing equipment.
  • Learn and apply basic HVAC principles and safety procedures.
  • Help with the installation of ductwork, refrigeration lines, and other system components.
  • Support technicians in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and replacing filters.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • No prior HVAC experience required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
