The HVAC Install Lead is responsible for leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish. This role oversees install crews, ensures high-quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and delivers an excellent customer experience while meeting company performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage HVAC installation crews on residential projects
- Install complete HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and accessories
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and system designs
- Coordinate job site logistics, materials, and tools
- Train, mentor, and support install helpers and junior technicians
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic system questions
- Complete job documentation, photos, and paperwork accurately
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Identify potential issues and proactively recommend solutions
- Work closely with dispatch, sales, and management teams
Qualifications
- 4–6+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Prior leadership or crew-lead experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow, duct design, and controls
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and installation manuals
- EPA Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops
Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
- Local or state HVAC license

Work Schedule
- Full-time - Start 7:30AM to TBD
- Monday–Friday with occasional overtime as needed
Compensation: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
