Fred's Plumbing and Heating, based in Champaign, IL, is on a mission to provide customers with the best heating and cooling services in town! We're ready to grow and are looking for the right full-time HVAC Installation Tech to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated trade professional to learn more, improve their skills, and reach the next level in their career.

WHO ARE WE?
For over 40 years, residents of the Champaign area have counted on our family-owned company to provide prompt, reliable service. We proudly offer installation, repair, and maintenance on everything from electrical panels to sewer lines to heating and cooling equipment. Whether a client needs an outlet rewired or a tankless water heater installed, no job is too small or too large for our experienced team to handle!
WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
You'll usually work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with half-days on Fridays. There is also an on-call rotation.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Our HVAC Installation Tech is responsible for:
- Showing up to jobs on time and ready to perform high-quality work
- Speaking with clients, answering questions, and recommending additional upgrades
- Accurately installing and testing all types of heating and cooling equipment and systems
IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?
EPA certification would be a bonus but isn't required. Here's what we need from our HVAC Installation Tech:
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Polite and professional attitude
- Desire to learn more and grow within the industry
- Valid driver's license
- Residence within 30 minutes of Champaign, IL
