Job Description
HVAC Installer- Residential HVAC - Base Salary to 50.00/hour- Mount Kisco, NY
- Our client, a residential HVAC service provider in the Greater Westchester County, NY area, is seeking an HVAC Installer to support installation and service operations across residential customers. This role focuses on hands-on fieldwork, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair residential HVAC systems including:
- Split systems, condensers, furnaces, and heat pumps
- Diagnose system issues and replace components as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and basic test & balance functions
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Work in the field using ladders and handling tools and HVAC equipment
- Utilize basic computer systems for job documentation and communication
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience installing residential HVAC systems
- Experience with both HVAC installation and service/repair work
- Ability to diagnose and replace HVAC components in residential systems
- Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics
- Ability to safely work in field environments (ladders, lifting equipment)
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 40.00 - 50.00/hour range
