Colonial Plumbing Heating Air is scouting a full-time HVAC Installer to save the day by installing quality HVAC equipment, completing ductwork, and fittings for the good citizens of our Colonial Heights, VA community. This position also comes with a competitive hourly wage of $24 - $32, depending upon experience, plus spiffs and bonuses with a total earning of $40,000 - $60-000/year and works a schedule of 7am 4pm, Mon - Fri with some overtime, weekends, and stand by on-call hours for emergency installations. You will also be responsible for keeping the job site organized, safe, as well as collecting payment and completing the proper paperwork after each job is done. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC INSTALLER / INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
- Minimum of three (3) years working in HVAC installations OR comparable education
- Certified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- Can follow controls and wiring schematics as well as braze, solder, and weld
- Flexibility to work on-call over weekends and after hours (as required)
- A valid social security card and driver's license
- A clean driving record
- Physically capable of climbing ladders, lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs, as well as working in tight spaces and varying temperatures
