Job Description

HVAC Installer |$28.00 - $38.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs

Design Air Inc. Missoula, MT

We have been proud to serve the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys of Montana with the best service and products since 1994. Locally owned and operated and provide services in repair, maintenance, and installation for HVAC heating and air conditioning for our residential and light commercial customers.

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime

What you will be doing:

Installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems
Working in residential homes and small commercial businesses, work will be in attics, under the houses, outside / inside, and on rooftops.
90% retrofit / change out & 10% new construction
Installing gas & electric furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits, RTU's etc.
Heavy lifting of equipment - 100lbs overhead with assistance

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
2+ years of HVAC installation experience
EPA Universal Certification (or ability to obtain upon employment)
NATE Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
Ability to install gas piping, including hard pipe and flexible systems
Strong understanding of installing and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC equipment
Proficient in HVAC system design and ductwork installation
Working knowledge of low voltage HVAC systems
Experience running, brazing, and pressure testing line sets
Strong customer service and communication skills
Well-organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
