Tim Whistler Plumbing, Gas Fitting, HVAC & Electrical is hiring a Residential HVAC Installer with 1–2 years of installation experience. If you’re looking to grow your skills in a supportive, team‑focused environment, this is a strong opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Install HVAC systems: furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, ductwork
- Connect electrical wiring, refrigerant lines, gas and water lines
- Start up and test new systems for proper operation
- Install water heaters during winter months
- Follow all safety codes and company standards
- Communicate system basics to customers
- Load materials, measure job sites, complete documentation
Requirements
- 1–2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Ability to install water heaters; plumbing knowledge is a plus
- HVAC training or apprenticeship preferred
- EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong tool proficiency and mechanical skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight/hot/cold spaces
- Good communication and customer‑service mindset
