Job Description

HVAC Installer | $35.00 - $45.00 per hour DOE + Spiffs/bonuses

Potential annual earnings $100K +

Work Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:30pm

Position Overview:

  • Installing primarily residential and some light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, ducted and ductless systems
  • Correctly size, fabricate, install, insulate, and seal ductwork
  • Low voltage control wiring of thermostats and accessories
  • Refrigerant application with line sets brazing and implementation of AC and Heat Pump Systems
  • Installing and testing gas pipe
  • Equipment start-up and troubleshooting techniques
  • Train helpers and support installation teammates
  • Educating customers on their equipment so they have the very best experience after installation
  • Solving in-field installation challenges and working through options with the sales team and customer

Qualification:

  • 3 + years of HVAC Installation experience
  • Residential Retrofit experience required
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Proficient at residential and light commercial functional design and installations
  • Good understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, and wiring diagrams
  • Experience running and testing gas piping
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Basic sheet metal practices
  • Knowledge and ability to follow city and county installation codes
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School desired

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
