Senior Mechanical HVAC InsulatorCompany: COR3 MechanicalLocation: Central FloridaPay: $24–$34 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:COR3 Mechanical is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical HVAC Insulator to support commercial HVAC construction projects throughout Central Florida. This role focuses on insulating commercial HVAC ductwork and chilled water piping systems, ensuring installations meet quality, safety, and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

Install insulation on commercial HVAC ductwork and chilled water piping systems
Measure, cut, and install fiberglass and foam insulation materials
Install vapor barriers, jacketing, and protective coverings as required
Read and interpret construction drawings and mechanical plans
Ensure insulation installations meet project specifications and industry standards
Maintain safe work practices on commercial construction sites

Requirements:

5+ years of HVAC/mechanical insulation experience in commercial construction
Strong experience insulating HVAC ductwork and chilled water piping
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
Knowledge of insulation materials, adhesives, and installation methods
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout Central Florida
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
