Job Description

Texas AirZone was started in 1997 by Gary Schroeder. In 2000, Chris Roebuck joined Texas AirZone. Both Gary and Chris had a vision that there was more to HVAC service and installation than repairing and selling a piece of equipment. As a result, Gary and Chris have redesigned the way they approach an HVAC system - it is not just the equipment, it is the design of the duct system, testing procedures, and the comfort of the customer. Job Duties:

  • ??Lead the installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and other related components.
  • ??Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute installation tasks effectively
  • ??Coordinate with project managers to schedule installations and ensure materials and equipment are available as needed.
  • ??Conduct site assessments to determine the best location for equipment placement and identify any potential obstacles.
  • ??Install, connect, and test HVAC equipment and controls according to the manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • ??Inspect completed installations to verify compliance with building codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • ??Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or installation issues and implement solutions to resolve problems promptly.
  • ??Provide 3 training and mentorship to junior installers, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.
  • ??Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring proper handling of tools and materials.
  • ??Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns regarding the installation
  • ??Keep accurate records of installation activities, including labor hours, materials used, and project expenses.
  • ??Stay informed about advancements in HVAC Technology, codes, and regulations, participating in training programs as needed to maintain proficiency.

Qualifications:

  • ??3+ years of HVAC Installation experience.
  • ??Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
  • ??Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • ??Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in HVAC installation.
  • ??Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • ??Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • ??Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
