Job Details
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all phases of commercial HVAC projects from planning to execution to close-out. This position requires very strong planning, management, and communication abilities. Responsible for all deliverables of the project
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in the commercial HVAC industryUnderstanding of project managementExperience with driving financial resultsWillingness to travelPMP preferredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordProject Management
Manages projects' net revenue of $500k to $10-20MM+Satisfies stakeholder expectationsOptimizes the use of organizational resourcesCapable of effectively managing constraintsResponsible for project team. Leads the team that is responsible for achieving the project objectivesResponsible for ensuring standardization by following processes and holding accountabilityResponsible for timely and clear information processing and distributionProfessional and courteous communicator: verbal and writtenCapable of prioritizing tasks and activitiesMakes decisions and executes tasks to maintain projects’ schedules and budgetsSelf-sufficient in daily operations that pertain to this positionResponsible for the technical and financial sides of the projectContinuously maintains and helps grow strong relationships with our customers, vendors, and subcontractorsTrains and guides other team membersDevelops or helps the team develop Procurement schedule. Tracks and monitors.Initiates, executes, and concludes buy-out process.projects'Ensures no gaps are left in our scope of work and our retainage is released in a timely mannerDocuments and distributes lessons learned with all team membersRequired Skills and Abilities:
Able to comprehend and speak EnglishDemonstrates ability to effectively build plans for one to two years into the futureDemonstrates interdepartmental collaboration skills and the ability to manage cross functional relationshipsDemonstrates working knowledge of company's financial goals and how to build profitabilityAbility to maintain confidential information and exercise discretionEffective communication skills, prioritization, and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving and research skillsProficiency in MS Suite, MS Project, Adobe, Sage PJ/Job Cost, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, ProcoreAbility to interact effectively with general contractors, labor subcontractors and the internal teamRequires attention to detail in trades coordinationDemonstrates organizational and leadership aptitudeHas general knowledge of OSHA safety requirementsAbility to anticipate and be proactive to minimize conflict, problem field conditions, errors and omission issue on drawings and specificationsAbility to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, drawingsAbility to write moderately complex correspondenceAbility to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to general contractors, labor subcontractors, and the internal team
