Hvac/R Construction Supervisor

Cold War Refrigeration is looking to fill a full time construction supervisor position covering Southern California. Salary is based on experience. Job Summary: As a HVAC/R Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, managing crews and subcontractors, and ensuring all work is performed safely, on schedule, and according to project specifications. This role is crucial to the success of our projects and requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all phases of construction from start to finish. Coordinate and manage labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors. Monitor progress and ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that arise. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients. Maintain accurate records of daily progress, materials used, and labor hours. Provide direction and training to field staff and crews as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience as a HVAC/R Construction Supervisor or similar supervisory role. Solid understanding of HVAC/R construction procedures, tools, and equipment. Ability to read and understand construction plans and documents. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (OSHA certification a plus). Proficient with project management software and mobile reporting tools (preferred). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical certifications or degrees preferred.
