What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues
- Performing preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Servicing rooftop units, split systems, package units, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice machines, and refrigeration systems
- Reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
- Performing equipment startups and commissioning
- Communicating findings and recommendations clearly with customers and team members
- Maintaining accurate service documentation
- Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of HVAC/R experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Experience working on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of electrical controls, motors, compressors, and refrigeration cycles
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with restaurant refrigeration equipment
- Experience with supermarket or commercial refrigeration systems
- Experience with building automation and controls
- OSHA certification
- Additional manufacturer certifications
