Job Description

We are looking for an HVAC-R Technician to join our team to provide support to multiple entities including Lincoln Surgical Hospital, Eye Surgical Associates, Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics and Nebraska Surgery Center.

The HVAC-R Technician is responsible for maintaining Heating/Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration Systems; identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems; providing necessary information on the proper uses of the equipment; and ensuring that adequate materials are available to complete all Preventive and Restorative Maintenance assignments, in a timely manner.

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday, from 9:00 am- 5:30 pm.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Diagnoses malfunctions of heating/air conditioning/refrigeration systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems.
  • Ensures routine maintenance is performed on all mechanical systems and building components in accordance with manufactures guidelines, if applicable.
  • Operates and maintains HVAC and Mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, O&M's and design specifications.
  • Performs routine general maintenance and repairs in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical Systems.
  • Cleans and repairs Air Handling Units, Valves, Dampers, Heat Exchangers, Closed Systems, Boilers, Chillers, Thermostats, Variable Air Volume Systems, as well as any other combination of heating/cooling units and associated equipment.
