Position Summary
As a Sales Consultant, you will meet with homeowners in their homes to assess their comfort needs and recommend customized HVAC solutions. You'll build trust with customers, provide professional recommendations, and guide them through the purchasing process while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping customers. Successful candidates have a proven sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage their own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home sales consultations with homeowners
- Recommend HVAC systems and comfort solutions based on customer needs
- Build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Prepare accurate proposals and sales documentation
- Follow company sales processes and ethical business practices
- Maintain product knowledge and stay current on industry offerings
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from consultation through sale
Qualifications
Required
- Previous in-home sales experience
- Demonstrated success in a sales role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to ethical business practices
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Preferred
- HVAC product knowledge, including Trane, Rheem, and Mitsubishi systems
- Previous HVAC sales experience
