Craig Cunha, the NEW Operations Manager at One Hour Heating and Cooling in Wilmington, DE, offers a fresh approach on how Service Technicians should be treated by the company, and the clients they work for. Craig values technical competence and customer service over pushy sales skills. With a focus on fixing the problem, your mechanical skills come first; however, you must also be able to leave the client smiling. JOB SUMMARY

Diagnose and resolve service issues with residential Gas / Oil Furnaces, Water and Steam Boilers, A/C and Heat Pumps.

JOB DUTIES

  • Diagnose the failure, recommend solutions, and quote the repair(s)
  • Create and maintain a positive relationship with our clients
  • Educate our clients on the products and services we offer that our client might not be aware of
  • Perform preventative maintenance in shoulder seasons
  • Maintain company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean, organized and well stocked
  • Participate on an "on-call" schedule for our contract customers.

Minimum Requirements to Apply

  • 3 Years Experience in Residential HVAC Service
  • Completion of some formal HVAC training (Dawn, Del Tech, Skills Center, etc.)
  • Clean Background, Drug Free, Clean Driving Record
  • Possession of the tools necessary to do the work
  • 2 references that would recommend you for this position, (friends, family, co-workers or teachers)

Compensation

  • We will negotiate a competitive hourly rate based on your experience and technical competence. Incentives are available to earn more through spiffs and overtime. Pay is not an issue if you're not overselling your abilities. Our clients deserve the best and we understand good technicians don't come cheap.

  • 6 Paid Holidays
  • 10 days paid time off to start, (15 after 5 years)
