- Driving to residential and some light commercial sites to assess customer needs and property for proper HVAC unit size and type, assess appropriate unit placement and ductwork modifications/needs for new and existing customers and provide appropriate pricing for project.
- Creates and presents professional proposals by client due date.
- Conducts sales presentations.
- Offers available financing options and informs customer of promotions.
- Works with multiple lead sources and generates own leads through customer follow-ups, referrals, and cross selling existing clientele, etc.
- Attends weekly sales meetings to address objections, report activities and sales.
- Conducts follow up visits/phone calls to completed jobs for quality checks, to ask for referrals and hand marketing material for referrals to customer.
- Collaborates with Service and Installation departments on leads and recommendations.
- Typical working hours include Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm; nights and weekends may be required as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of HVAC Sales Experience Required
- Knowledge and experience in Residential and Light Commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints to generate plans, unit specifications and negotiate pricing/bids if required.
- Must have excellent knowledge of industry and products and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have clean motor vehicle history.
- Must have basic computer skills and experience use Microsoft Office.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and present company in a positive manner.
- Ability to complete required paperwork.
