OverviewOur client, a leading commercial HVAC organization is seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Executive to drive technical sales and deliver innovative HVAC solutions to commercial and industrial clients. This role blends engineering expertise with strategic sales execution, focusing on identifying customer needs, designing custom HVAC solutions, and managing the full sales cycle.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and exceptional delivery of each project.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in commercial and industrial HVAC markets.
Assess client needs and develop tailored HVAC system solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, technical drawings, and cost estimates.
Partner with internal engineering and project teams to ensure solution accuracy.
Maintain and expand relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct site visits, surveys, and system evaluations as part of the sales process.
Deliver persuasive presentations to key decision-makers.
Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines to secure profitable contracts.
Track sales activities and maintain up-to-date pipeline reports.
Stay informed about industry standards, new technologies, and local building codes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in HVAC sales, engineering, or estimating.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, mechanical design, and industry standards.
Proven track record of developing sales strategies and closing deals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD or estimating software is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Valid driver’s license; local travel required.
